Hello, my name is Marla and I have been an employee of Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor since 1998. I started with the company as an R.N. on the evening shift. I then became the A.D.O.N. I have been the Administrator for nine years. I previously worked in the hospital and Home Health. I am very proud of our team at Countryside Manor. Our residents are our number one priority! I am married to T.J. Howard and I have two daughters. We have two grandchildren, Harlie, age 16 and Reed, 8 months. I am blessed to work with wonderful residents and their families at Countryside Manor. Hi, my name is Jeanette and I have worked for Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor since June 1993. After high school I went to nursing school at Rend Lake College and I have worked as a CNA, LPN, and then received my Associates Degree in Applied Science. I worked for a local hospital for several years before come to Countryside Manor and have really grown up with the facility. Since my mother is a nurse and as the oldest of five siblings, I feel like I have been caring for people my whole life. I have one child which is the love of my life, but my career runs a close second. I have very high expectations of myself of the entire nursing staff. We will all try to care for each of your loved ones as our own and look forward to welcoming every resident into our facility. I attended the University of Southern Indiana and received my Bachelor of Science in Health Services. I live in Wayne City with my husband Steve and our three children. I have worked at Countryside Manor for almost seven years. I am proud to work at CSM and feel that our team strives to provide the highest quality of care. I work closely with the staff to ensure that we treat all of our residents with the dignity and respect they deserve. We know that moving into a nursing facility can be a difficult time in one's life. Part of my job is to help the residents and their loved ones with adjusting to this transition. I assist with any personal needs that our residents may have. I work closely with the Admissions/Discharge Coordinator to set up many in-home services so that our residents will have a safe and smooth return to their home. Hi, my name is Dana and I have been the Dietary Manager at Countryside Manor since 1993. I have been involved in the growing of our facility. I have been active in the Dietary Managers Association since 1994. I received my CDM certification and later in 1998 received my Certified Food Protection Professional Certification. I attend on-going seminars to keep up with the current regulations and trends for the care ofour residents. We have a registered dietitian available. We offer diet training to return home after rehab therapy. I have been in the restaurant and catering business since I was 16 years old. I continue to dabble in it on the side. I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with my family.
